July Newsletter

Last weekend the devotees here at New Gokula celebrated the greatly auspicious Snanayatra bathing ceremony of Sri Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra. The event was a nice success, the program consisted of Bhajans, Abhishek, a nice drama about Lord Jagannatha’s apprearance as well as a sumptuous feast cooked by Ananta Sesa Prabhu.

New Gokula farm will have a promotion stall at Liverpool Rathayatra on Saturday 17th July where we will be presenting plans for the New Gokula accommodation development as well as renovation of the present Goshala. There will be opportunities to get involved with these exciting developments. Our cow sponsorship program will also be on display, so if you’re a current cow sponsor we’ll have laminated photos of all cows at the booth so please stop by to pick one up. We will also be taking new sponsorships. Supporting protection of Krishna’s dear cows and bulls is a fast track way to receive special mercy from Srimati Radharani so please take this opportunity to check out our booth. If you would like to help out with the booth please let me know as soon as possible.

This Thursday 8th July is Yogini Ekadasi grains fast. Break fast is 7:35 – 10:48 AM on Friday morning.

We now have a furnished house in Millfield close by to the farm for visiting devotee and guest accommodation. Please take full advantage and book now with your friends and family to enjoy a relaxing weekend in the country.

Hare Krishna!!
