Directions from Sydney :

Driving north on the F3, take the Cessnock, Kurri Kurri exit. (the tourist route through Wollombi is also an option, consult a map or GPS)
Once you’re in Cessnock, go to the end of the main street, Vincent St.
Turn left at the traffic lights into Wollombi Rd.
Follow Wollombi Rd for 15 kms until you reach the little town of Millfield.
Turn right at Mount View Rd. Drive down Mount View Rd for 3 kms.   
Turn left at Lewis Lane.
